I fell in love with this block by Krommama on Flickr and wanted one like it. 
I didn't have any newsprint, but I did have three 6" squares of this word print in my scrap bin and two squares of the yellow. I love the yellow and gray combination so I thought...why not. 
I still like Krommama's better, but this will do =0) Maybe if I can find some newsprint fabric I will try again.

So cute! If I could find a fabric with the "fruits of the spirit" on it, I could applique fruit on it. Oh, I love the idea. The initial thing makes it so personal!
