Auction Items Mailed Out

To the winners of the auction items, I mailed your things out today. I know I said Tuesday but I had one of those weeks where the world conspired against me and I didn't get them out Tuesday.

So, expect them in the next seven days or so. I hope you love them and give you years of smiles as you collect the teeth of your little ones.

Time's Up!

Time's up, bidding has ended for my three silent auction items. I will list below the winners of each item and give instructions.

But first...I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated. We were able to raise $70, just on MY blog, multiply that by the hundreds of other items up for auction this weekend and I am just so thrilled. I don't know if they will announce a dollar ammount raised, but I know that every single dime made for this family will ease their burden and bless their lives. I am so very grateful to have had a chance to participate and do my small part to help out. Thank YOU for helping me.

I have been asked how I know Stephanie and Christian and the truth is, I don't. I had never even heard of them until about four days ago. But I believe in helping when I can. God gave me talents and asked me to use them, so I am doing my best and all I can hope for is that my efforts, in some small way, can lighten the burden of this family as they going through such a horrible time.

If you chose not to participate, that's ok too, but please keep the family in your prayers, they can use all the help they can get.

Silent Auction #3 Blue and Green Toothfairy Pillow

Silent Auction Item #3 Blue and Green Toothfairy Pillow

Never again will the toothfairy have to fear waking a child by rooting under a pillow looking for a tooth. Simply place the tooth in the little pocket and place the toothfairy pillow at the head of your child’s bed. It’s a simple task to grab the pillow and make the switch in the middle of the night.

You are bidding on one Blue and Green Toothfairy Pillow. This pillow measures approximately 10” x 8” and it will be stuffed upon delivery. (It’s not stuffed now because I worked on these all day, but when I went to the store for batting last night, the batting I brought home was of such inferior quality I refused to use it, I will buy better batting today and stuff the pillows before they are shipped out.) The pillow is backed in the striped fabric and features two color stitching.

Silent Auction Item #1 Cherry Wall Hanging/Table Topper

This charming cherry quilt will look darling either hanging on your wall, or used as a table topper. It measures approximately 15 ¼” X 15 ¼” This item was hand made and hand quilted by me. I use quality materials and do my very best work. Quilting is by Machine. Cherries, leaves, and stems are hand appliqued and stitched. Binding is by hand.
**HINT** Christmas is right around the corner, this could make a fantasic gift for a Mom or a Mother In Law =0)

A web-wide even is planned for Thursday, August 28th to benefit Stephanie (Aka NieNie) and Christian.
