Just Popping In...

Just a couple quick updates before I head off for bed.

#1 Granny squares are DONE! And with the help of my friend Stacymae trying to tell me how to join them in an IM chat (Thanks for your patience girl LOL) I have them all joined and a little finishing border crocheted all around. I just have to weave in two little ends, clip a few strings and take a picture. I love how it turned out, it's exactly what I wanted.

#2 I have been going through all the blogs of ladies signed up for the Quilter's Angel swap (Click on the icon on the right and you can see the list of everyone participating too) there are some awesome blogs out there, I have already found a couple that will be added to my regularly checked blog list.

#3 I got my swap partner assignment today also. I can't wait to get started, she seems like a great person and it will be fun to make things for her. If you stop by, this is me waving! =0)

#4 while cleaning out my mom's shed yesterday she gave me some fun things. I am excited to show you. I got a box of yarn, my grandma's old end tables that were handed down to my mom so they were in my house growing up. They are awesome and vintage. Love them, just can't decide if I should paint them, or leave them wood, such hard decisions. I also got her old Jenny Lind crib that I am going to spray paint red and turn into trellises for my garden. I love re purposing old things.
